Sunflower seed hearts are like caviar for the great and blue tits , and the occasional Robin . The tits are queuing up in the hedge for a dash to the feeder , and the level sinks rapidly . I’d like to encourage other garden birds which I see foraging in the undergrowth ( wrens and dunnocks) but they’re not adapted to the hanging feeders.
